Plate XXXIV — Until the Snow Melts (the Cabin Pair)
$7.49
Observing note
Through the deepest weeks of December this pair cannot be split; they sit in one blurred point of light while the weather does what it likes. Come the first clear night of the thaw they separate cleanly, and the astronomer-poet records that she was almost sorry. A holiday plate for the northern winter, with a thin ruled border of falling snow.
