Plate XXVI — Melody for Two (the Duet Pair)

Observing note

Watched through one warm July, the Duet Pair brighten in turn, never together, like two musicians who have not yet agreed on who leads. The house observer scored the light curve as a staff of music along the plate's lower edge. A southern summer object, taken from a balcony with the window open and something playing inside.
