Observing note
Open the atlas and this is the first plate you meet: a hot, white primary wrapped in a nebula that only reveals its structure after an hour of patient exposure. The observers of the house called it the Contract, because what looks at first glance like a simple arrangement turns out to contain lanes, knots and a second agenda. Best viewed from the southern hemisphere between October and March, ideally from somewhere with no curfew.
