Plate XXXIII — Cheating in the Suite (the Booked-Out Field)

Observing note

Dense as a hotel corridor on a Saturday, this winter cluster has more stars than any one night can check off. Look instead for the dark lane cutting across the lower third, the one gap in an otherwise full house. The plate is annotated in a hand that keeps changing, as if several guests had been asked to account for the same hour and each told it slightly differently.
