Plate XXV — After Her (the Lift Shaft Asterism)

$6.99

Observing note

Best found in the cold clarity of January, the Lift Shaft is a straight run of five faint stars that look, in a small telescope, exactly like a man counting floors. The plate marks the third star from the top as the moment he realised whose office the light was coming from. Mounted on heavy cream stock with the astronomer's pencilled margin note: some endings were only ever intermissions.
